Ideal ratios for a balanced/meaty diet consist of approximately
- 70 – 80% Meat (including fat)
- 10 – 15% Offal (eg liver, kidney, heart, green tripe)
- 10 – 15% Bone (whole bone, or minced-up bones included in a product)
